This 7′ 9″ Osage Orange mantel is beautiful with its warm inviting colors. It is approx. 13-17″ deep and 2 1/2″ thick. This species of wood was used by the Osage Indians of Missouri and Arkansas and many others for bow construction. This species of wood is known for being strong yet flexible.
