Pricing is based on length, thickness, depth, wood species, and the amount of natural character in the piece. This allows you to select a mantel that fits both your style and budget.
Do I need a log home to install a rustic mantel?
Not at all. Many customers install rustic fireplace mantels in traditional and modern homes to add warmth, texture, and a natural focal point above the fireplace.
Do you also build shelves?
Yes. We also build rustic wood shelves that coordinate with our mantels. These shelves are decorative wall shelves — they are not installed as fireplace mantels. This distinction matters both for design and safety.

Do you install mantels?
Some customers install their own mantels, while others work with a contractor or finish carpenter. We’re always happy to answer general questions, but installation should be completed by a qualified professional.

Shipping, Pickup & Lead Times
Do you ship outside Colorado?
Yes. We ship mantels throughout Colorado and to several surrounding states — and we also ship within the lower 48 U.S.
Can I visit your showroom?
Yes. Many customers visit our showroom in Pine, Colorado to choose or pick up their mantel.
What is your typical lead time?
Lead time varies depending on order volume and whether your mantel is custom-built or selected from in-stock inventory. We’re happy to provide current timing when you contact us.
Terminology — Mantels vs Shelves
What is the difference between a fireplace mantel and a shelf?
A fireplace mantel is installed above the firebox opening and is part of the fireplace wall design.
A wood shelf is a decorative wall shelf installed elsewhere in the home.
We build both rustic wood shelves and fireplace mantels — but they are different products with different installation considerations. Our shelves simply coordinate with our mantels so your home has a cohesive natural-wood look.
